Resumen de Ruptura epistemológica e construtivismo pedagógico em Gaston Bachelard

Bachelard, considered as one of the fathers of the constructivism, is famous for its concept of “epistemologicalrupture”. How an epistemology of the rupture can induce a constructivist pedagogy? This article shows thatBachelard defends at the same time the idea of epistemological discontinuity and that of psychopedagogiccontinuity. It also explains that there is not in Bachelard only one epistemological rupture, but two: on the onehand, between the common opinion and the science of the 19th century, on the other hand between those andthe “new scientific spirit”. What has important consequences in matter of school teaching of sciences.

Bachelard, considerado um dos pais do constructivismo, é famoso pela sua noção de “ruptura epistemológica”. Como uma epistemologia da ruptura pode induzir uma pedagogia constructivista? Este artigo mostra que Bachelard defende ao mesmo tempo a idéia de discontinuidade epistemológica e a de continuidade psicopedagógica. Explica também que não há em Bachelard uma só ruptura epistemológica, mas duas: por um lado, entre a opinião comum e a Ciência do século XIX, por outro lado entre estas e o “novo espírito científico”. O que tem conseqüências importantes no que diz respeito ao ensino das Ciências.
