    • Technological evolution that results in innovation has traditionally been related tounemployment because people are replaced by machines. By analyzing the differentapproaches of the literature, we focused on the relationship into innovation andemployment, with the aim of exploring whether the most innovative companies createmore employment, or hope to create it, taking into account company performance.For this purpose, we performed a Multivariate analysis, using the Partials LeastSquares (PLS) technique, for studying the direct and indirect relationship betweenbusiness innovation and employment, through the economic and financialperformance of the company, focusing on Spanish companies in the year 2020. Theresults obtained show that innovation has a positive effect on employment, and on theperformance of the company, and this in turn on the creation of employment. Inconclusion, the administration should encourage business innovation in order toimprove employment rates and also to improve company performance
