  Tudo começou com um número errado, decorre do efeito mágico e improdutivo que a literatura produz, cujo prelúdio é um equívoco após tocar a buzina do telefone no meio da noite; o período aleatório em que brota um destino. A invocação do escritor Paul Auster em sua obra The New York Trilogy que emergiu de sua própria fatalidade e que emerge do quarto de um homem despejado e perdido no mundo que, por meio de suas reflexões e escritos, revela com habilidade e sutileza uma infinidade de temas universais, quatro deles escolhidos pela sua relevância e interesse literário e que resolvem os problemas existenciais nevrálgicos do homem contemporâneo: a solidão, o acaso, a cidade e a identidade, são portanto o sustento de um conteúdo que pode ser perfeitamente decifrado, se se quiser, sem ordem retilínea; Em outras palavras, cada manuscrito, ao se apegar a um estilo de ensaio, possui autonomia e busca em todos os momentos o equilíbrio entre os conceitos dos outros e as interpretações pessoais.
