    En el mundo andino, los rituales ancestrales tienen características análogas, se realizan en los cerros más altos del Samikuy (ofrenda en quechua) partiendo de la población o ciudad en la que se ha erigido. El distintivo del Apu (señor en quechua) es divinizado por los campesinos quechuas por ser la razón de su existencia. El ritual ancestral al Apu Razuhuillca tiene su particularidad por las lagunas que se encuentran al pie del nevado Apu Razuhuillca, que abastece de agua a la ciudad de Huanta. Las actividades del Samikuy se realizan durante todo el año y en fechas especiales, guardando relación con el calendario andino, generando turismo nacional e internacional. El resultado de la práctica del Samikuy es un proceso de reciprocidad sagrada con el Apu y el ser humano, cuyo fin es el bienestar comunal, familiar e individual.

    In the Andean world, ancestral rituals have analogous characteristics, they are carried out on the highest hills of the Samikuy (offering in Quechua) starting from the town or city in which it has been erected. The distinctive Apu (lord in Quechua) is deified by the Quechua peasants for being the reason for their existence. The ancestral ritual to the Apu Razuhuillca has its particularity due to the lagoons that are found at the foot of the snow-capped Apu Razuhuillca, which supplies water to the city of Huanta. Samikuy activities are carried out throughout the year and on special dates, keeping a relationship with the Andean calendar, determining national and international tourism. The result of the practice of Samikuy is a process of sacred reciprocity with the Apu and the human being, whose goal is communal, family and individual well-being.
