    La asignatura Laboratorio Básico Integrado es una materia de formación básica que se imparte en el primer curso del Grado Nanociencia y Nanotecnología de la Universidade da Coruña. La disparidad formativa del alumnado, en concreto en el módulo de Biología, al inicio del curso es muy marcada, ya que conocimientos previos en este campo para el acceso al Grado son recomendables, pero no obligatorios.

    El objetivo del presente trabajo ha sido conocer la información previa, experiencia y percepciones de los estudiantes de esta asignatura para identificar necesidades formativas específicas y optimizar la preparación de la materia, así como evaluar su adecuación a esta información. El consecuente ajuste del contenido de la asignatura y la impartición de la misma permitió que el alumnado cursara sin grandes dificultades el módulo de Biología, e incluso valorara positivamente la formación recibida.

    Integrated Basic Laboratory is a basic training subject that is taught in the first year of the Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Degree at the University of A Coruña. The educational disparity of the students, specifically in the Biology module, at the beginning of the course is very marked, since previous knowledge in this field for access to the Degree is recommended, but not mandatory. The objective of the present work was to know the previous information, experience and perceptions of the students of this subject, in order to identify specific training needs and optimize the preparation of the subject, as well as to evaluate its adequacy to this information. The consequent adjustment of the content of the subject and its teaching allowed the students to pass the Biology module without great difficulties, and even value positively the training received.
