    Objetivo: De esta revisión bibliográfica será sintetizar y sistematizar la información actualizada sobre las técnicas y potenciales usos de la medicina regenerativa en el campo de la odontología. Método: Búsqueda bibliográfica en diferentes bases de datos como PubMed y Scielo. Resultados: 16 artículos relacionados directamente con el objetivo de investigación. Conclusión: Se determina que no solo basta que exista una óptima fusión entre las diferentes células, por lo cual no se debe menospreciar y evaluar las posibles reacciones que pueda tener el sistema inmune al momento de que las células madre ejerzan una acción, el rechazo del injerto se considera como uno de los mayores problemas que se plantean en las terapias de trasplante ya que las células no poseen vascularización.

    Objective: The aim of this literature review is to synthesize and systematize updated information on the techniques and potential uses of regenerative medicine in the field of dentistry. Method: Bibliographic search in different databases such as PubMed and Scielo. Results: 16 articles directly related to the research objective. Conclusion: It is determined that it is not enough that there is an optimal fusion between the different cells, therefore it should not be underestimated and evaluated the possible reactions that the immune system may have when the stem cells exert an action, the rejection of the graft is considered as one of the biggest problems that arise in transplantation therapies since the cells do not have vascularization.
