    O combate ao trabalho forçado no mundo é um temamuito discutido, sendo um dos principais objetivos da OIT. Estaorganização foi responsável por emitir as Convenções nº 29 e nº105, as quais tratam do combate ao trabalho forçado no mundo.De tal modo, este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar as referidasConvenções, analisando-as individualmente e observando aevolução das determinações de cada uma rumo a um combate maissevero do trabalho forçado no mundo. Além do mais, será analisadocomo essas duas Convenções foram aplicadas e desenvolvidas noBrasil, percebendo assim, como elas infuenciaram no ordenamentojurídico brasileiro, sendo possível entender como o país tem lidadocom o enfrentamento ao trabalho forçado no território nacional.Será observado também como o país legislou sobre o trabalhoforçado, nomeando-o internamente como trabalho análogoao escravo, e como as Convenções foram recepcionadas pelaConstituição brasileira. Além disso, tratará do caso José Pereira,o qual foi um caso marcante no combate ao trabalho escravo noBrasil. E também abordará como o país se posiciona atualmenteno enfrentamento a este tipo de trabalho, quais medidas e políticastêm sido adotadas e como o país tem sido visto internacionalmentee pela OIT no combate ao trabalho forçado.

    The fght against forced labor in the world is a hotlydebated topic, being one of the main objectives of the ILO. Thisorganization was responsible for issuing Conventions No. 29 andNo. 105, which deal with combating forced labor in the world. Insuch a way, this work has as objective to analyze the mentionedConventions, analyzing them individually and observing theevolution of the determinations of each one towards a more severecombat of forced labor in the world. In addition, it will be analyzedhow these two Conventions were applied and developed in Brazil,thus realizing how they infuenced the Brazilian legal system,making it possible to understand how the country has dealt withthe confrontation of forced labor in the national territory. It will alsobe observed how the country legislated on forced labor, naming itinternally as labor analogous to slavery, and how the Conventionswere accepted by the Brazilian Constitution. In addition, it will dealwith the José Pereira case, which was a remarkable case in the fghtagainst slave labor in Brazil. It will also address how the countrycurrently stands in tackling this type of work, what measures andpolicies have been adopted and how the country has been viewedinternationally and by the ILO in combating forced labor.
