Política linguística na Amazônia cabana: a gestão da língua e o preconceito linguístico em evidência

    This study has a purpose to analyse how the colonial device instituted a linguistic policy, during the period of Cabanagem, inserted in practice, belief and tongue management dimensions. For this aim, we considered the methodological theoretical framework from Michel Foucault in discursive studies (2010a; 2010b; 2010c; 2016a; 2016b), Bernard Spolsky (2004; 2009) and conceptual operationalization thas has been developed about government of the language in Pará Amazon by the Mediations and Discourses Study Group in Amazon – GEDAI/CNPq (LAVAREDA (2021), LAVAREDA & NEVES (2018; 2019; 2020). Therefore, in an attempt to systematize the essay, the technical procedures of the study have a documental approach, having as an instrument for the production of the research archives the discursive filigrees left by the narrative Political Riots... (RAIOL, 1970). The intent of this study is to highlight the events that were subjected to the Cabanagem epoch regarding to the genesis of a “language purist” attitude in the Amazon territory. So that the research can potentialize a more plural look at the historical constitution of portuguese language and, in the same gesture, create opportunities for other looks at this network of linguistic sensitivity as an index of social stratification.

    Trata-se de uma proposta que analisa como o dispositivo colonial instituiu uma política linguística, durante o período da Cabanagem, mergulhada nas dimensões de prática, crença e gestão da língua. Para tanto, consideramos o arcabouço teórico-metodológico de Michel Foucault no quadro dos estudos discursivos (2010a; 2010b; 2010c; 2016a; 2016b), Bernard Spolsky (2004; 2009) e operacionalização conceitual que vem sendo desenvolvida sobre o governo da língua na Amazônia paraense pelo Grupo de Estudos Mediações e Discursos na Amazônia – GEDAI/CNPq (LAVAREDA (2021), LAVAREDA & NEVES (2018; 2019; 2020). Assim, na busca de sistematizar o ensaio, os procedimentos técnicos do estudo têm abordagem documental, tendo como instrumento para a produção dos arquivos da pesquisa as filigranas discursivas deixadas pela narrativa Motins Políticos... (RAIOL, 1970). Almeja-se, com este estudo, salientar os acontecimentos que ficaram sujeitados à época da Cabanagem com relação à gênese de uma “atitude purista de língua” no território amazônico. De modo que o artigo possa potencializar um olhar mais plural sobre a constituição histórica da língua portuguesa e, em um mesmo gesto, oportunizar outros olhares para esta rede de sensibilidade linguística enquanto índice de estratificação social.
