El presente trabajo analiza la viabilidad de repensar el ius variandi a partir de aplicar al Derecho Laboral la Teoría Relacional del Contrato. Desde esta Teoría, entendemos que el mismo podría ser también a propuesta de la persona que trabaja para que su contrato de larga duración se adapte a la realidad que lo va afectando. Así, además de evitar rupturas predecibles, sería más justo para la parte que dice proteger.

This paper analyzes the feasibility of rethinking the ius variandi by applying the Relational Theory of the Contract to Labor Law. From this Theory, we understand that it could also be proposed by the worker so that his long-term contract adapts to the reality that is affecting him. Thus, in addition to avoiding predictable breaks, it would be fairer to the party it claims to protect.
