Felícia Fuster: l’escriptura com una malla d’estopa

    Aquest article fa un recorregut per l’obra de la poeta catalana Felícia Fuster (1921-2012) i analitza com l’autora elabora poèticament alguns del elements procedents dels àmbits marí i tèxtil, vinculats amb el seu mon d’infantesa. El text analitza, per ordre cronològic de publicació, el lèxic, les metàfores i les al·lusions referents als camps tèxtil i marí dels diferents reculls per tal d’esbrinar-ne tant la funció dins el projecte literari de l’autora com l’evolució que experimenten. Si bé en els primers llibres els elements procedents d’aquests camps són molt presents, s’argumenta que, a partir de Passarel·les / Mosaïques, el que es transfereix al poema és el bastiment en forma de xarxa de pescadors, de filat o de teixit, amb una escriptura perforada que incorpora espais en blanc.

    This article reviews the work of the Catalan poet Felícia Fuster (1921-2012) and analyses how she gives poetic form to certain elements of the maritime world and the textile industry, both tied to her childhood. The text examines her poetry collections in chronological order, focusing on sailing and textiles and the associated word choices, metaphors and allusions, all in an effort to discover the function of these references within her literary project and the evolution in how she approached the topics. While these elements are often explicitly evident in her earlier writing, this article argues that, starting with the collection entitled Passarel·les / Mosaïques, the maritime and textile references are apparent in the structure of the poems themselves, which takes the form of a burlap or jute fishing net, a perforated writing style that incorporates openings or blank spaces.
