    Se identifican insuficiencias en el pensar médico desde lo cognitivo y aplicativo de contenidos de la inmunología, que se reflejan en la toma de decisiones médicas de médicos residentes, independiente de la especialidad en la que se especializan. El proceso de formación del pensamiento como capacidad mental no es rígido y su desarrollo está en correspondencia con el nivel cultural alcanzado por el individuo, bajo la influencia y acción de la educación. Se caracterizan los niveles de pensamientos, con las habilidades atribuidas y se resignifica al pensamiento inmunológico, como un pensamiento de nivel superior guiado por el método científico, sus principios dialécticos y éticos, así como la factibilidad de su formación y desarrollo desde la práctica médica en la formación del médico residente.

    Insufficiencies in the medical thinking from the cognitive and applicative perspective of the contents of immunology are identified, which are reflected in the medical decision-making of resident physicians, regardless of the specialty in which they specialize. The process of thought training as a mental capacity is not rigid and its development is in agreement with the cultural level reached by the individual, under the influence and action of education. The thought levels are characterized, with their corresponding skills, and the immunological thought is represented as a higher-level thought, guided by the scientific method, its dialectical and ethical principles, as well as the feasibility of its training and development from the medical practice in the formation of the resident physicians.
