    Para Latinoamérica, el turismo nacional e internacional está en constante crecimiento. Situación que demanda la necesidad de formar líderes con competencias y habilidades comunicacionales por parte de las universidades, con sus programas curriculares para atender la demanda de países que presentan en sus investigaciones estas necesidades y exigencias para el desarrollo de sus áreas en el ámbito turístico como motores para los sectores económico, político y sociocultural. El objetivo principal del artículo consiste en analizar la formación de líderes emprendedores en turismo con habilidades comunicacionales con respecto a estudios universitarios en el Ecuador. La metodología se fundamentó en el paradigma epistemológico estructuralismo con el método científico análisis crítico dialéctico, descriptivo - documental a través de fuentes primarias, como Redalyc, SciELO, Scopus, Dialnet, así como trabajos de investigación, que registran datos científicos y empíricos significativos para dar respuesta a las interrogantes y objetivos planteados. Entre los resultados encontrados dentro del análisis crítico es que estas variables ya han sido objeto de indagación por otros investigadores, quienes han aportaron datos e información teórica relevante e importante. El sustento teórico es sustancioso, además de la fortaleza que ofrece la técnica de categorización bibliográfica, lográndose la sistematización sobre la formación de líderes emprendedores en turismo con habilidades comunicacionales a nivel universitario. Se logra describir como ha sido la formación de estos nuevos líderes emprendedores y las habilidades comunicacionales en turismo, además de comparar los perfiles de egreso establecidos en las carreras de turismo por distintas universidades del Ecuador.

    For Latin America, national and international tourism is constantly growing, a situation that demands the need to train leaders with communication skills and abilities by universities with their curricular programs to meet the demand of countries that present these needs and demands in their research. the development of its tourist areas, as engines for the economic, political, and socio-cultural sectors. The main objective of the article was to analyze the training of entrepreneurial leaders in tourism with communication skills at the university level in Ecuador. The methodology was based on the epistemological structuralism paradigm with the scientific method of critical dialectical, descriptive - documentary analysis through primary sources, such as Redalyc, SciELO, Scopus, Dialnet, as well as research works, which record significant scientific and empirical data for respond to the questions and objectives posed. Among the results found within the critical analysis is that these variables have already been the subject of investigation by other researchers, who have provided relevant and important data and theoretical information, the theoretical support is substantial, in addition to the strength offered by the bibliographic categorization technique, achieving systematization of the training of entrepreneurial leaders in tourism with communication skills at the university level, it was possible to describe how the training of these new entrepreneurial leaders and communication skills in tourism has been, in addition to comparing the graduation profiles established in the careers of tourism by different universities in Ecuador.
