    La inespecificidad o falta de presuposición de existencia de un SN se atribuye generalmente al alcance de alguna modalidad sobre el SN. Los diferentes grados de fuerza de las modalidades en relación con sus implicaciones hacen pensar en que sean posibles diferentes grados de inespecificidad en los SSNN sobre los que ejercen su alcance. Las diferencias semánticas entre las lecturas inespecíficas de los SSNN producidas por [NEGACIÓN] y las producidas por [FUTURO] y su diferente comportamiento discursivo nos confirman la existencia de dos tipos de inespecificidad.

    The non-specificity or lack of presupposition of existence of a NP is attributed generally to the scope of some modality of the NP. The different degrees of strength of the modalities in relation to implications that they involve bring to mind the possibility of different degrees of non-specificity in the NPs under its scope. The semantic differences between the non-specific interpretation of the NPs caused either by [NEGATION] or by [FUTURE] and their different behaviour throughout the discourse confirm the existence of two types of nonspecificity.
