Ecuación Engañosa: Marca Ciudad, Estadios, Conciertos y ¿Vecinos…? El Caso del Santiago Bernabéu

    La necesidad de las ciudades para mejorar su posicionamiento ha encontrado en los clubes de fútbol, acuciados económicamente unos aliados más que sugerentes, ya que el uso de las infraestructuras de los equipos para fines distintos de los deportivos, como la celebración de conciertos, se enmarca en una ecuación que favorece tanto el fortalecimiento de la Marca Ciudad como el incremento de ingresos para los clubes.  Debido a ello,  se ha estudiado esa relación entre las ciudades, los equipos y sus instalaciones y cómo contribuyen a esa Marca Ciudad. Sin embargo, el problema causado por la remodelación del estadio Santiago Bernabéu y la programación continua de conciertos ha afectado gravemente a la habitabilidad del barrio. Vista la situación de Madrid La ecuación propuesta no solamente no se ha cumplido sino que parece estar rebajando la calidad de vida de los afectados al colisionar el pretendido desarrollo económico con la habitabilidad del barrio.

    The need of cities to improve their positioning has found in football clubs, which are economically strapped, some very suggestive allies, since the use of the teams' infrastructures for purposes other than sporting ones, such as holding concerts, is part of an equation that favours both the strengthening of the City Brand and the increase in income for the clubs.  The relationship between the cities and the teams and their facilities has then been studied as to how they manage, at least in theory, to contribute to the City Brand. However, the problem caused by the remodelling of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium and the continuous programming of concerts has seriously affected the habitability of the neighbourhood. Not only has the proposed equation not been fulfilled, but it seems to be lowering the quality of life of those affected by the collision between the intended economic development and the habitability of the neighbourhood where the football club's identity is based.
