El logaritmo nace como respuesta a la imposibilidad de calcular una potencia con un exponente decimal, de forma que las soluciones a estos cálculos exponenciales se encuentran recogidas en las llamadas tablas de logaritmos. Pero, si no se puede realizar el cálculo, ¿cómo se han obtenido esas tablas?

El logaritme neix com a resposta a la impossibilitat de calcular una potència amb un exponent decimal, de manera que les solucions a aquests càlculs exponencials es troben recollides en les anomenades taules de logaritmes. Però, si no es pot fer el càlcul, com s'han obtingut aquestes taules?

The logarithm borns as a response to the impossibility of calculating a power with a decimal exponent, in a way that solutions to these exponential calculations are gathered in so-called tables of logarithms. But if the calculation cannot be made, how these tables have been obtained? Giving response to this and other questions is what is raised by the authors whose work is divided into two parts: reworking on the concept of logarithm through history and creating an own table of logarithms that serves to initiate future students of scientific careers in investigation.
