    De los diversos casos de multiculturalidad se ha dirigido la mirada hacia la presencia del colectivo marroquí en los libros de texto.

    Junto a la denuncia de los errores, silencios, tergiversaciones, posiciones racistas y estereotipos que aparecen en las páginas de los manuales referidos al mundo marroquí, se pretende presentar también aquellas características propias que identifican su cultura y a los personajes que la modelan logrando con ello textos que perfilan una cultura a los que se pueden ir incorporando nuevas aportaciones que, a su vez, reestructuran las que ya existen. Dos pues son las finalidades de esta investigación: la primera se refiere al estudio de las distintas valoraciones, si existen, que aparecen en los libros de texto sobre los hombres y mujeres marroquíes y que inducen a percibirlos de una determinada forma y la segunda, ofrecer una base teórica que sirva de apoyo para entender nuevas perspectivas culturales, de modo que, junto a otras que se conocen y utilizan, suponga la contrastación de las representaciones de las personas y se facilite el entendimiento colectivo.

    Among all the different examples of multicultural reality, we have drawn our attention to the Moroccan presence in textbooks.

    Apart from complaining against the mistakes, silences, distortions, racist positions and stereotypes on Moroccan people that appear in the above mentioned textbooks, we would like to present the specific characteristics that identify their culture and the historic characters that have starred it, to obtain texts that approximate to their culture from a different position and that can include new points of view that can change what we already know about them.

    As a result of it, this research has two aims: the first one is the study of the different considerations that appear in the textbooks on Moroccan men and women if there are any - and that induce people to consider them in an specific way; and the second one is to offer a theoretical base that can help to extend new cultural perceptions so that together with the old usual ones, introduce a contract on people images and perception and stimulate the understanding of the collective.
