Resumen de Mujeres en la Historia de la Geología (I): desde la antigüedad hasta el siglo XIX

  Este trabajo está fundamentado en la perspectiva histórica de los estudios de Género y Ciencia. En él hemos recogido las aportaciones y detalles biográficos de más de cien mujeres que han trabajado en distintas áreas de la geología. El objetivo de esta compilación es, por una parte rescatar del olvido y sacar a la luz los nombres y sus aportaciones a la geología y, por otra, seleccionar algunas de estas mujeres para utilizar sus biografías y aportaciones en una propuesta didáctica. En esta primera parte hemos abordado el periodo comprendido entre la antigüedad y el siglo XIX.

  This work is based on the historic point of view of the Gender and Science studies. We have collected the contributions and biographical details of more than one hundred women that have investigated and/or published in different areas of geology. The final aim of this compilation is on the one hand to rescue their names and contributions to geology and, on the other, to choose some of these women to use their biographies and contributions to use in a science teaching proposal. In thise first part we have dealt about the period from antiquity to the XIXth Century.
