Resumen de Competencias interculturales y bilingüismo en la formación inicial del profesorado

La formación inicial del profesorado de Educación Infantil y de Educación Primaria está orientada al desarrollo de competencias, estando algunas de ellas ligadas a la interculturalidad y a la comunicación. En el presente estudio se retende conocer la importancia atribuida por maestros/as en formación inicial a las competencias interculturales y de bilingüismo, así como analizar si sus opiniones varían en función de la especialidad cursada y la realización de algún tipo de movilidad. Los resultados señalan diferencias en las percepciones de los alumnos de Educación Infantil y Primaria, detectando que los estudiantes que interactúan con otras culturas tienen una actitud más positiva hacia las competencias interculturales y bilingües.

The initial training of teachers of Pre-School and Primary Education is geared towards the development of skills being sorne of them linked to interculturalism and communication. In the present study is knew the importance given by teachers in initial formation to intercultural competences and bilingualism, as well as analyze whether their opinions vary depending a specialty courses and carrying out sorne type of mobility. The results show differences in the perceptions of students of Pre-School and Primary Education, detecting that the students interacting with other cultures ha ve a more positive attitude towards the intercultural and bilingual skills.
