El proceso de formación socio comunitaria en universidades venezolanas:: Una perspectiva para su perfeccionamiento

    La investigación responde a la necesidad de una nueva visión de la gestión curricular en el proceso de formación socio comunitario de los estudiantes universitarios, con el objetivo de contribuir a superar las insuficiencias en el servicio comunitario que limita la formación profesional como proceso transformador recíproco al desarrollo social en Venezuela. En esta investigación se promueve y se desarrolla la reflexión crítica y constructiva de los conceptos, principios y mecanismos que caracterizan el proceso de formación socio comunitario, como una perspectiva que permite acometer el perfeccionamiento del servicio comunitario de los estudiantes de la Educación Superior venezolana, una vez establecido éste por la “Ley de Servicio Comunitario para los Estudiantes de Educación Superior” (2005), para revelar los desafíos que ella plantea a la orientación y gestión del currículo en la formación de profesionales de todas las carreras. Se abordan los diferentes elementos que sirven de base al proceso de formación socio comunitaria del estudiante universitario, con énfasis en sus aspectos epistemológicos que sustentan a los principales resultados de la investigación. El estudio revela la necesidad de una gestión curricular sustentada desde la esencia epistemológica y axiológica de la responsabilidad social universitaria para el proceso de formación socio comunitario del estudiante universitario en su relación con la diversidad del contexto profesional. Las actuales inconsistencias limitan el nivel de sistematización en el proceso de formación socio comunitario y su gestión curricular desde la relación universidad – responsabilidad social universitaria – comunidad y su integración con la gestión universitaria institucional.

    The research responds to the need for a new vision of curriculum management in the process of socio community formation of the university students, with the aim of contributing to overcome shortcomings in the community service they perform in Venezuela, which limits their training as a mutual transformational process to social development. This research, promotes and develops the critical and constructive reflection on concepts, principles and mechanisms that characterize the process of socio community training as a perspective that can undertake the development of community service of Venezuelan higher education students, once established by the "law of community service for the students of higher education" (2005) finally revealing the challenges that it poses to the guidance and management of the curriculum in the training of professionals of all races. Address the various elements which serve as basis for the process of socio-community training of the University student, with emphasis on its epistemological aspects that serve as support to the main results of the research. The study has allowed revealing the need for curriculum management supported from the epistemological and axiological essence of University social responsibility for the process of training partner community of the College student in relation to the diversity of the professional context. The current inconsistencies do not ensure a sufficient level of systematization in the process of socio community formation and curricular management from the relationship: University - University social responsibility - community and their integration with the University management.
