The aim of this work is to analyze the students’ perception about the educational strategy implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic. The academic period analyzed is from March to June 2020. Educational strategies were implemented for the General Chemistry theoretical-practical subjects, attended by freshmen students. Students were asked regarding their academic performance, learning, level of attention, capacity for independence and self-learning, as well as the obstacles they faced in accessing virtual classes. Students consider having reached the theoretical contents, thanks to the teacher’s guide and the diversity of tools used by them. In contrast, students expressed the obvious need to attend the laboratory in person.
