    El área “Educación Emocional y para la Creatividad”(EMOCREA)nace en Canarias con la intención de implantar un currículoobligatorioque promuevala adquisición de competencias emocionales y creativasen el alumnado de educación primaria,como respuesta a los nuevos retos que ha impuesto la sociedad compleja, adversa e incierta que nos ha tocado vivir.El objetivo del presente trabajo es ofrecer un conjunto de argumentosque justifiquenla relevancia de esta innovación curricular, junto con la valoraciónque realizóuna muestra de 16 inspectores/as educativossobre su implantación, recogida a través de un cuestionario diseñado atal fin. Todo ello en el interés de ofrecer a la inspección educativa,orientaciones para que pueda desarrollar eficazmente la supervisión y el apoyo que requiere el proceso de acompañamiento al profesoradoen el trayecto hacia una escuela que eduque desde el corazón emocional.

    The area of "Emotional Education and Creativity" (EMOCREA) was born in the Canary Islands with the intention of implementing a compulsory curriculum that favors the acquisition of emotional and creative skills in Primary Education students, as a response to the new challenges imposed by the complex, adverse and uncertain society, that we have had to live. The objective of this work is to offer a set of arguments that justify the relevance of this curricular innovation, together with the assessment made by asample of 16 educational inspectors on its implementation, collected through a questionnaire designed for this purpose. All this in order to offer guidance to the education inspectorate so that it can effectively develop the supervision and support that the process of accompanying teachers requires on the path towards a school that educates from the emotional heart.
