El Trabajo Fin de Grado:: variables predictoras de la satisfacción y la nota en una muestra de alumnado de los Grados en Maestro en Educación Infantil y Primaria

    Los resultados que obtiene el alumnado al realizar el Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG) responden a una serie de factores, entre los que se encuentran algunos ligados a las características personales del individuo. El objetivo del presente estudio es analizar la influencia de varios de estos factores, tales como la autoeficacia, la motivación y el control académico percibido, en los resultados que esperan obtener un grupo de estudiantes al realizar el TFG, prestando también atención a la implicación del profesor tutor en este proceso, y en la satisfacción con el trabajo que están realizando. Se ha analizado una muestra de 238 estudiantes de los Grados de Maestro de Infantil y Primaria que realizan sus estudios en la Universidad de Salamanca y que respondieron voluntariamente al cuestionario on-line, elaborado específicamente para la investigación; compuesto por 31 ítems. Los resultados del estudio señalan que todas las variables analizadas correlacionan de manera significativa y en sentido positivo con la satisfacción que el alumnado tiene sobre su trabajo y sobre la nota que cree que merece. Sin embargo, solo la autoeficacia, el control percibido y la motivación intrínseca son predictores significativos de la satisfacción con el TFG, mientras que, por otro lado, solamente la autoeficacia y la motivación extrínseca los son respecto de la nota que el estudiantado cree merecer.

    The results obtained by students performing the Undergraduate Dissertation (UD) respond to several factors, among which are some linked to the personal characteristics of the individual. The objective of this investigation is to analyse the influence of several of these factors, such as self-efficacy, motivation and perceived academic control, on the results that a group of students expect to obtain in the UD they are taking. We have also studied the involvement of the tutor in this process, and we have analysed the satisfaction of the students with the work they are doing. We have analysed a sample of 238 students from Infant and Primary School Teacher degrees who studied at the University of Salamanca. They voluntarily answered to the on-line questionnaire, prepared specifically for this research, consisting of 31 items. The results of the study indicate that all the variables that we have analyzed correlate in a significant and positive way with the satisfaction that students have with their work and with the grade they believe they deserve. However, only self-efficacy, perceived control, and intrinsic motivation are significant predictors of satisfaction with the UD, while only self-efficacy and extrinsic motivation are significant predictors of the grade that students believe they deserve.
