    Esta investigación aborda el dragqueenismo y la traducción audiovisual en un caso atípico de representación en la era del streaming. Super Drags es una serie animada para adultos originalmente en portugués y producida en Brasil para Netflix. La serie trata sobre tres hombres gais de clase trabajadora cuyos alter egos, las Super Drags, protegen a la población LGBTQ. El estudio presenta el análisis de las representaciones del género y la sexualidad de los protagonistas en sus versiones dobladas al inglés, español para América Latina y español peninsular. A partir del análisis de contenidos y temático de los cinco episodios de la serie, se propone que la función del dragqueenismo en la serie es promover representaciones transgresoras de lo heteronormativo. Esta función se analiza luego de forma contrastiva con las versiones traducidas. Los resultados del análisis contrastivo se presentan en torno a los tres temas principales de la serie: la visibilización de las identidades sexo-diversas, la oposición al binarismo de género y la transgresión de las nociones de «lo femenino» y «lo masculino» instauradas en los cuerpos.

    In this article, the authors analyze the intersection between drag and audiovisual translation in an atypical case of representation in the streaming era. Super Drags is a Brazilian adult animated series originally produced in Portuguese for Netflix. The series is about three working-class gay men whose alter egos, the Super Drags, protect the LGBTQ community. The results of the analysis show how the representation of gender and sexuality occurs in three different dubbed versions of Super Drags —Latin American Spanish, Peninsular Spanish, and English. Based the content and thematic analysis of the complete first season (5 episodes), the authors argue that the function of drag in the animated series is to promote transgressive representations of the heteronormative sex/gender system. Regarding the dubbed versions of Super Drags, the results show that the main themes of the series —the visibility of sexually diverse identities, a critique to gender binarism, and the transgression of the gendered notions of the «feminine» and «masculine» bodies— are rendered differently in each version.
