    El Museo Gallego de Psicología tuvo su origen en el material procedente del Laboratorio de Psicología del Colegio Universitario de Ourense, y posteriormente, del material procedente, fundamentalmente, de las universidades de Galicia. Su sede está en las instalaciones de la Facultad de Psicología, de la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (España). En este estudio se analizó todo el material que hay en el Museo, clasificándolo en material de laboratorio, tests, libros clásicos y antiguos, libros de autores gallegos, y material de docencia e investigación. También se analiza la procedencia, pública o privada del material, y la procedencia del material por universidades. Se encontró que mucho material procede del Laboratorio de Psicología del antiguo Colegio Universitario de Ourense (Universidad de Vigo), y la Universidad que más material aportó es la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, seguida de la Universidad de Vigo, y en último lugar, la Universidad de A Coruña.

    The Galician Museum of Psychology originated in the material coming from the laboratory of psychology of the Ourense University College to which, later on, material coming largely from all of the Galician universities was added. Its head office is located in the facilities of the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain). This paper aimed to analyze the entirety of the material from the Museum, which was classified into lab material, tests, classic and old books, books by Galician authors and teaching and research material. The origin of the material, public or private, as well as its origin according to the university of provenance were also analyzed. The bulk of the material was found to come from the Psychology laboratory of the former University College of Ourense (University of Vigo). The University that contributed the most material was the University of Santiago de Compostela followed by the University of Vigo and lastly the University of A Coruña
