The objective of this Communication is to evidence thecontributions of the history of chemistry in the school scientific activityfrom a naturalized pragmatic epistemology, which allows reconstructingscience as a profoundly human activity and conceiving school scientificknowledge similar to scientists’ theories in the fact that both realmsintegrate thought, language and action. In this line, review two schoolscientific activity’s, one presented the discussion in chemistry betweenLavoisier and Priestley in century XVIII and about the decomposition of airand the other, describes the application of the model from StephenToulmin to the study of the evolution of the concept of periodic law
