Este libro destaca los últimos avances, innovaciones y aplicaciones en el campo de la resiliencia y adaptación de edificios y ciudades al cambio climático, presentados por investigadores internacionales en la VI Conferencia Internacional sobre Recuperación, Mantenimiento y Rehabilitación de Edificios (CIRMARE 2023), celebrada en Covilhã, Portugal, del 5 al 7 de diciembre de 2023. Abarca temas diversos como la accesibilidad de edificios y espacios urbanos, la industrialización de los procesos de rehabilitación, las intervenciones en el patrimonio cultural, la evaluación de la calidad de los edificios, el mantenimiento y la recalificación de los espacios construidos, el BIM y la digitalización de la construcción, la planificación urbana, la economía circular en el sector de la construcción, la rehabilitación de infraestructuras urbanas, los edificios de energía casi nula, la resiliencia urbana y el cambio climático, la recuperación de áreas urbanas degradadas, la vida útil y las patologías en los edificios. Las contribuciones, que fueron seleccionadas mediante un riguroso proceso internacional de revisión por pares, presentan una gran cantidad de ideas interesantes que abrirán nuevas vías de investigación y fomentarán la colaboración multidisciplinar entre diferentes especialistas.
This book highlights the latest advances, innovations, and applications in the field of resilience and adaptation of buildings and cities to climate change, as presented by international researchers at the VI International Conference on Recovery, Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Buildings (CIRMARE 2023), held in Covilhã, Portugal, on December 5–7, 2023. It covers a diverse range of topics such as accessibility of buildings and urban spaces, industrialization of rehabilitation processes, interventions in cultural heritage, building quality assessment, maintenance and requalification of built spaces, BIM and the digitization of construction, urban planning, circular economy in the construction sector, urban infrastructure rehabilitation, near zero energy buildings, urban resilience and climate change, recovery of degraded urban areas, service life, and pathologies in buildings.
